The Langum Prize

Saul Cornell's history of the U.S. Constitution's Second Amendment, A Well-Regulated Militia: The Founding Fathers and the Origins of Gun Control in America, which I helped out with as a research assistant, has won the 2006 Langum Prize for American Legal History. This gives me an excuse to do the linky picture thing again, complete with the Amazon "look inside" arrow pointing to my name in the acknowledgments. See!

I was also a research assistant on one of Cornell's earlier books on constitutional history, Other Founders: Anti-Federalism and the Dissenting Tradition in America, 1788-1828, and that book also won an award. Clearly I am good luck and he should have me work on all his books from now on. At the very least he owes me a good blurb when I sell my American Revolution novels.
