- My three book series about witches fighting a secret war behind the scenes of the American Revolution was published by Del Rey in April, May, and June 2009. The first book, The Patriot Witch, is available as a free download in advance of publication on my website at www.ccfinlay.com for a little while longer.
I've sold around forty short stories, been nominated for some awards, and had two books published in 2005, The Prodigal Troll (Pyr) and Wild Things (Subterranean). I've taught at Clarion (2005), the Clarion YA workshop (2006), and the Alpha Writers Workshop (2007), and I was the admin at OWW, the Online Writing Workshop for Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror, from 2000 to 2007. I'm married to Rae Dawn Carson,
raecarson, who I met online -- internets FTW! We went on three dates and then I asked her to marry me. She was crazy enough to say yes.
